In the season of 2010 the C2 racecup will start in germany.
On the Sachsenring there was a presentation of the newcomer category.
Series organizer Rüdiger Seyffarth announced a small sensation. : the Magdeburger worldstars
Tokio Hotel will have a racecar of their own.
Also Ich+Ich singer Adel Tawil and bandleader Helmut Zerlett are ready to start.
"We ofcourse are really happy, that Tokio Hotel has given us a car, said Rüdiger Seyffarth,
who was beaming with joy at the press conference at the Sachsenring.
A Citroen C2 will be taking part in the races in the colors of Tokio Hotel.
This is a little Partnership for Tokio Hotel, but huge for us.
Tokio Hotel also given us their word, that at one or two of the races, all of them will be there together.
They are also looking for a date, so that bandmembers will be able to drive the VIP car
in one or two of the races.
On other dates part of Tokio Hotel should be present.
Also definately driving a VIP car will be Ich + Ich singer Adel Tawil and Helmut Zerlett.
It is a great succes and a very promising start for the newcomer category, which is a must for ambitious drivers.
The cost of 35.000 euro for the season and added to that 4.500 euro starting fee, are unbeatable.
